CJ.’S ALMOST
12-FOOT CHOPPER

C.J. has had this originafly-l953 since 1953, with changes made at his shop in Cranston, Rhode Island. It is 11’ 4” long, a 12” gooseneck with a 2” rake and 30-over wide glide. The rigid rear section is 2” outside diameter tubing and stretched 12”. It weighs 1200 lbs., holds 9 gal. gas, has a 150 up front and a 240 in the rear. A 96ci S&S engine by Joe Peens of Daytona Choppers hooks up to a 6-speed and a belt drive. The paint was done by Ray Delaney at Archie’s Auto Body. —Rogue
